Python Job: Graduate Automation Engineer

The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Zapier Automation Specialist, ideally with experience in Python or Javascript (Node.js).

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects apps like Gmail, Slack and Mailchimp. Businesses can use Zapier themselves to integrate apps without coding, however the more complicated integrations do require some code. We’re certified Zapier Experts and businesses come to us when they need technical help.

• This is a graduate/entry-level position, so there will be on the job training.

• No previous Zapier experience is required and we're happy to accept candidates without a degree.

• The role is permanent and based in Collingwood, in Melbourne's inner north with the option to work from home two days per week.

Skills & Experience:

• Will be comfortable working directly with business customers

• Be capable of working autonomously and part of a small technical team

• The ability to build sound customer relationships

• Experience with one of the following: Python or Javascript (Node.js)

• Exceptional communication skills. You will be working with non-technical clients, so being able to explain your approach in a clear and concise way is essential

• The ability to create workflows out of business requirements, and document them using flowcharts and process maps,

• Attention to detail. A precise and detailed approach is required to avoid mistakes.

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Asses leads that have come in via the website

• You will have a 15 minute consultation call with each of the leads to outline their job requirements

• Once the online contract is signed by the client, you will complete the Zaps (jobs) in collaboration with the internal technical team

• You will finish up each job with a follow-up call with the client to outline the work completed and let them know the next steps (testing etc)

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year
